Appaloosa is a duo from France and the UK. The British producer is Max Krefeld (sounds very German - hehe) and the French singer with the beautiful voice is Anne-Laure Keib. And as you can hear: that fits perfectly together and is definitely worth to have its place on the "After Dark 2" compilation.

Decadance - On and on (fears keep on) (1983)
Other aliases of "Decadance" are for example "Atelier Folie", "Expansives" or "Pleasure Discipline". Behind all these projects are the guys Franco Rago and gigi Farina.

Glass Candy - Warm in the winter (2011)
Glass Candy are Johnny Jewel as producer together with the lascivious voice of Ida No. This gem came out first in 2011 and now again on the extraordinary luxury compilation "After dark 2" on Mike Simonetti's label "Italians do it better".

JKriv & The Disco Machine - Ready to work (2013)
This is funky disco shit, man. This is the original title which came out digitally. I prefer the so called "Dicky Trisco Free Yourself Mix" which was released - of course - on vinyl.

D-Pulse - Keep on running (Amberflame Mix) (2013)
Pretty fresh and pretty good. Great remix with an ultra-fat bass line.

Franz Underwear - Aereo dance (2013)
Francesco Scala uses sounds which are well known to our ears. The arpeggios remember me on good old Italo.

Ghecko - Firelight (1984)
Classic tune! Even the repress from 2008 on "Flexx" with an outstanding remix by Flemming Dalum costs at least 25 Euros.
