One of the best Yazoo titles ever. It's featured on their first album "Upstairs at Eric's". Alison Moyet has a great voice.

Classic tune from Spain - mostly unknown I think. Espan-talo!!!

Torrevado - Living in the shuttle (1985)

The first time I heard of this title was in the Spanish "Max Mix 3" from 1986. I loved it immediately but forgot it over the times. Last year I finally found the 1988 release with some different - but also fine - versions on a vinyl-fleemarket.

Strange but typical sound for Gary Low. Classic and beautiful!

Classic tune which is the basic for some production of nowadays in my opinion - especially the funky synth-bassline. Listen and compare.

Harold Faltermeyer - Axel F. (1984)

Everybody knows that stroke of genius.

Harold Faltermeyer is a German guy from Munich. His career began in 1979, playing synthesizer on Donna Summers', "Bad Girls" album along with executive producer Giorgio Moroder.
Following his work with Laura Branigan on her 1984 album "Self Control", he produced soundtracks for the motion pictures "Beverly Hills Cop" and "Top Gun" and won Grammy Awards for each of them.
"Axel F", from Beverly Hills Cop, entered the US-charts at number 3, in 1985. The Pet Shop Boys had him produce their 1990 album, "Behaviour". (discogs)

I chose this original video because I also love this film - but sorry: the quality isn't that brilliant.

This Disco House project comes from Sweden and the Finnish DJ and producer with the Spanish from Helsinki created an outstanding remix.

Tape No Tape - Pure & easy (2010)

This track also disappears on the sampler "Future Disco Neon Nights" for the first time on vinyl. The digital release of it was in 2010 as well as the Hannulelauri track from yesterday. This four-track sampler has a huge track-selection.

Hannulelauri - Zombie tropicana (2010)

First time this tune has been released in 2010 as a digital release and then it came out in 2011 on vinyl as part of the sampler "Future Disco Neon Nights".
