This is a cooperation between two excellent Italians - the one from Venice we already know: Bottin - and the other from Rome: Rodion. With this single sided limited blue and white splatter 12inch they created a masterpiece of obscure cosmic electro disco house track.

Harold Faltermeyer - Axel F. (1984)

Everybody knows that stroke of genius.

Harold Faltermeyer is a German guy from Munich. His career began in 1979, playing synthesizer on Donna Summers', "Bad Girls" album along with executive producer Giorgio Moroder.
Following his work with Laura Branigan on her 1984 album "Self Control", he produced soundtracks for the motion pictures "Beverly Hills Cop" and "Top Gun" and won Grammy Awards for each of them.
"Axel F", from Beverly Hills Cop, entered the US-charts at number 3, in 1985. The Pet Shop Boys had him produce their 1990 album, "Behaviour". (discogs)

Bruno Spoerri made in electronic music since the mid 60s mainly in film music.

This funny synth-pop song was written by Anthony Moon aka Anton Monn who has so many aliases in the scene. Some of them are Charisma, Magnifique or O.R.S.
