LCD Soundsystem - Tribulations (Lindstrom remix) (2005)

A great work from Norwegian guy Hans-Peter Lindstrøm. Very driving - only the build-up is a bit too long - and its also very electro-style.

Autokratz - Always more (2009)

This is a great new tune from the more electro corner - but I like it a lot though. And there even is a real video available as you can see.

Mauno Kalevi - Kirjastolaulu (2007)

The driving bassline will push you up. Very nice new production from Finland.

Doctor's Cat - Watch out! (1983)

All time classic!!!! Driving and uplifting!!

Alden Tyrell - Odessa theme (2006)

Oldschool Italo in a modern production. Sounds like mid-eighties tracks by Cyber People (for example Polaris or Void vision). Master Alden Tyrell did a good job!!

Mirage - Change your life (instrumental) (1984)

Funky sounding italo stuff with some great guitar elements.

Lucy Montenegro - Lucy loves hairy boys (2009)

I really don't know what the title of this track should represent. Sounds like nonsense to me - but the main thing is: this is an absolutly NuItalo killer! Also produced in the Netherlands and released on "You Can Trust A Man With A Moustache Vol. 1" by David Vunk's "Moustache Records".

Tanya Jackson - Twisted love (1984)

This is a mostly unknown track. The posted vocal version is pretty cheesy and not everybody's pleasure. I also like more the instrumental version on the B-side.

Electrick Dragon - Davorite (2009)

This is one of best NuItalo tracks from the Netherlands. Responsible for that masterpiece is Rick van Breugel - a pal from the "Moustache Records" owner David Vunk.

Keyboards Affair - Tubular bells (1983)

Who doesn't know Mike Oldfields "Tubular bells"? This is a well done Italo-cover of this classic from 1973.

Zombi - Sapphire (2006)

This track is a sensation! It's part of "Digitalis" and is simply an epic adventure.

Faze Action - Good lovin' (Special disco mix) (2009)

They appeared in the scene in 1995 with their first release. This gem from 2009 is a real floor-burner that makes you fly.

Amin Peck - Anxiety (1982)

Another classic! A bit weird with a crazy voice - but that's Amin Peck.

Skatebard - June nights south of Siena (2006)

This is a dark piece of NuItalo-stuff by our Norwegian friend Bård Aasen Lødemel.

Principles of Geometry - A mountain for president (Joakim Remix) (2007)

Massive dance track turning from italo at the beginning into acid in the end. Great tune!!

Freak Electrique - Cloud surfer (2005)

If you hear that - and see the sexy body workout in the video - you'll definitely surf over the clouds. Perfect sound!!

Munk - Down in L.A. (Shazam version) (2009)

Munk is the duo of the German guys Mathias Modica & Jonas Imbery and they are big in business since the year 2000. Down in L.A. - the Shazam version - is a funky and grooving dancefloor hit with a very cool bassline a nice vocals by the German girl Franziska who normally does things like Hip Hop and RnB.

Digital Game - I'm your boogie man! (1983)

This is an Italo cover version of the 1977 original from K.C. & The Sunshine Band made by great Alessandro Novaga. Very good work Alex!!

Shock - R.E.R.B. (1980)

This is - I think - a totally overseen and underrated masterpiece of electro synth-pop music. It's featured on the B-side of "Angel face".

This version here is a new recorded and extended one from 2010.

Munich Machine - Space warrior (1979)

Space disco sound from the end 70s produced by our beloved Giorgio Moroder. Taken from the album "Body shine". BTW: very sexy cover.

D. F. & Pam - On the beat (1983)

I nearly forgot to mention this essential Italo track from the unbeatable year 1983.

Kasso - Key West (1982)

One of the two members of Kasso was Claudio Simonetti: Think we know him all as one of the greatest producers of that time. He also was involved in the project Capricorn that brought us the stunning "I need love" (also from 1982).

Hydravion - Metropolitain (1977)

Back again in the 70s. This is space rock sound from France. Nice listening. And at the end you can hear the train to outer space passing by.

Craig Peyton - Be thankful for what you got (instr.) (1983)

Back agian in great 1983 this is a more electronic than an Italo gem. For sure a bit crazy with some strange elements but definitely worth to be listened to.

Woolfy - The return of starlight (2007)

A new production again that also fits in the line of this blog. Woolfy makes wonderful atmospheric sounds with a little moody touch. This tune has been released on German "Permanent Vacation" label.

The Duke of Burlington - Flash '83 (Dub mix) (1983)

Tony Carrasco also brings us here a probably unknown Italo-masterpiece of the original version from 1969. Really a great tune.

Z-Factor - Thorns (1984)

This is a mixture between electronic synth-pop and slow house. Very melancholical and easy listening. The track is released on the always high recommended "Dance Party Album". There is a reissue in 2008.

Loopside - Starman (Star version) (1984)

Italo-cover version of David Bowie's original "Starman"-song produced by well known Tony Carrasco. This is the instrumental version on the B-side.

"There's a starman waiting in the sky...".

The Splash Band - Das Philadelphia Experiment (1984)

A great soundtrack for the movie of the same title by the German guy Ralf Hennings who made so beautiful music on John Carpenter movies. Another production of him is the Hypnotic Samba track I've already posted here with A- and B-side. Simply great stuff.

Beard Science - Dancing knights (45b edit) (2008)

Hey what's that?? Remembers me on the soundtrack of the 80s cult series "Miami Vice". Verrrry nice driving song. So put on your retro shirt, shoes and suit, get into your black Ferrari Daytona and drive around in the sticky and hot night of Florida. Wow!!!

Lindstrom & Solale - Let's practise (dub) (2007)

Some new stuff again with nice driving bassline, guitar parts and a lovely voice by pretty Isabelle Haarseth Sandoo - as we love it ...

Yellow Power - Hai samurai (1982)

Greetings from the Far East - or not? Yellow Power is also known as Explorer and is an instrumental project of Tony Carey the former Rainbow keyboardist. And he is from California.
