If you like John Lennon and Paul McCartney as well as Italo then you'll like this one.
This Italo-version with a fat synth-bassline and the nice female vocals has its roots back in 1969. Then it has been written by the two Beatles members. This here is the dub-version.
Essential Italo Disco (-inspired) underground vinyl tracks from 1983 until today for DJs, Italo Disco lovers, vinyl collectors & influential tastemakers

Xarion - Magical journey (1985)
This is a French production from the Mirage Studios on Teledisco Records, Paris. It's made by men with Italian sounding names (Tuzzio & R. Fassanelli). But I really can't find out more about this producers.
The sound remembers on well known tracks by Cyber People or Laserdance.

Gesaffelstein - The other (2008)
Gesaffelstein seems to be a German name but the truth is that this is a French DJ-producer from Paris and his real name is Mike Levy - now this also sounds not really French but English ... Kind of strange isn't it?
I like this new production with some space, house and italo elements.

Kraftwerk - Spacelab (1978)
Enjoy to listen to the real founder of minimal electronical and robotical sound with a track taken from their album "The man machine" - or German: "Die Mensch-Maschine".

Roni Griffith - Spys (1982)
Italo-Hi-NRG producer-god Bobby "O" is responsible for this gem. It's the B-side of the more known "(The best part of) Breakin' up". In my opinion this is more an A-side. Simply energizing.

Camaro's Gang - Move a little closer (1983)
"Hey, hey - hey - hey ...". Yeah, 1983!! This band comes from the Italodisco label Superradio Records run by Franco Scopinich who also is in projects like Sun-La-Shan for example.
This is a driving and uplifting Italo-bomb. I personally also like the B-Side of this vinyl - the Drive-Version that features the instrumental.

Starflight - Dancer (1984)
A production from the legendary "Gino Soccio". The disco producer king from Canada. One of his numberous projects.

Mr. Master - A dog in the night (1983)
A real Italo classic again. I only found the vocal version but I prefer the instrumental one.

Hugh Bullen - Alisand (1985)
Nice vocoderized male voice and powerfull synth-work that makes the song to be felt more upspeeded than it really is. That makes alarm on the Italo-dancefloor. Like this a lot ...!!

The Conservatives - Loneliness (2003)
This track is one of my favourites from the recent years of the Italo-revival. It's so powerfull and dark so that I can see and feel the flashes of the laser in the club only by listening to it. Simply a great work.
BTW: The 12" is a one-sider and on the back-label the following text is written down:
"Where do all them hot DJ's get their inspiration for playing all these exotic electronic dancing sounds?" --- www.cybernetic-broadcasting.net
This is true 'cause they were playing really the best of electronic music - and a lot of old school Italo as we like it...
It's a pity that this web-radio doesn't exist anymore. But there's a new station after that: Intergalactic Fm

1000 Ohm - A.G.N.E.S. (1982)
Here you can see - or better hear - that the origin roots of the project "1000 Ohm" are more related to wave sounding music. This fact you also can recognize if you listen to the original "normal" version of the track from 1979 (second video down below). But this long version is a great song as well. For me it's absolutly enough "Italo" in it.

1000 Ohm - Love in motion (1984)
The track has a very nice synth-work and sounds a bit like a mixture between Italo and Wave. Decide yourself if you like more the vocal or the instrumental version:

The League Unlimited Orchestra - Things that dreams are made of (1982)
"The League Unlimited Orchestra" is not a cover band of The Human League - no, it's The Human League itself. They made remixes of some of their own tracks and released them under this alias on the album "Love and dancing".
The video I found is very lovely made and something for every "Star Wars"-fan. Be surprised - very nice.

Jo Squillo Eletrix - Avventurieri (Scratch Version) (1984)
Yes, yes, yes!!! Finally I found this rare and beautiful song. Killer bassline and pure Italo feeling: Avventurieri totale!!

Los Autómatas - Viaje Espacial 1982
Wow, this is a pretty experimental track from a completely unknown band I cannot find out anything about. I got this link from a friend just today, enjoy!

One Two Three - Runaway (1982)
Although I am a huge Bobby Orlando fan, I didn't post so much of his great stuff here yet. I change this now: this is potentially one of his top 5 tracks - futuristic, melancholic, discoide, spaced out, synth-laden, a cool voice and his typical Gospel-style background voices. Truly outstanding.

John Forde - Woman 1977
Cosmic disco in full effect, from the early days. This is an amazing smasher with a nice synth bassline in the background!

Steel Mind - Lionel (1982)
This early italo-electro-disco track is almost as good as Lionel Messi plays football although this dude wasn't even born back then. ;) Awesome synth work, enjoy!
