Kebekelektrik - War dance (1978)
One of Gino Soccio's early projects is called Kebekelektrik. War dance first released in 1978 as a 7". Then in the year 1981 followed the great 12".

Patrick Cowley - Sea hunt (1981)
Sphere - Cosmic - Space - Disco. All together in one song. It makes you fly - promised.
Giorgio Moroder - Machines (1984)
What if there was never a genius like Moroder. This track from the original soundtrack of a remake of the movie "Metropolis" from 1984 is another masterpiece of the "Electro-Disco-Godfather".

Joy Michael - Dancin' (1983)
I am pretty sure, by the way, that 1983 will go down in history as the year that produced more electronic disco masterpieces than any other year. This Bobby Orlando HiNRG like track here by Joy Michael is another italo classic.

Sphinx - Collision (1982)
Back to Italo: this track by Sphinx will make you dance even when you've decided not to dance ;-) Great synth-bassline and nice minimal melody.
Patrick Cowley - Megatron man (1981)
This is another grandmaster of the high energy disco scene: Patrick Cowley. It's a pity he had to die so early in the year 1982. Megatron man - in my opinion - is one of his greatest hits ever. But listen yourself:

Cerrone - Supernature (1977)
Oh my god, this is another f*ckn classic of electronic disco! From France! Sorry, chart hitters, the whole year 2008 there wasnt a single track in the top 10 around the world as ingenious as this one here. Enjoy. And a cool message, too: if we f*ck up nature, nature is going to f*ck us up! WORD!

Expansives - Life with you (1982)
Another absolute classic is this one here from 1982 - collectors pay up to 500 USD and more for the original vinyl version. Most collectors do not really take into account how great a track actually is, they pay "market" prices, so "expensive" does not mean "amazingly great", but this here really is a beautiful track.
M-Basic - Ok, run (1983)
Happy New Year! Let's start 2009 with a classic electronic disco hymn from Sandy Marton of later "People from Ibiza" fame. This here is a vocoder based spacey piece of art, check it out!
