This is an italo hymn! Fred went on tour again this year with the I-F guys and Alden Tyrell. The sound quality of this video is bad, but the energy when the audience joins in singing the chorus is - porco dio - amazing!

Most people only know "Disco band". Quite a good song but this one is maybe the best of "Scotch". Listen to it and it makes you fly over the dancefloor. You also can find it in the "Musica da Batticuore"-Mix 2 from The Robot Scientists.

Xenon - Galaxy (1983) and Xenon - Symphony (1984)

These two Italo-hymns are really worth to spend some money for... Simply great!!

Dario Dell'Aere - Eagles in the night (1985)

One of the best growers: when I heard it for the first time, I thought, nice, but why do people pay 250 Euros for a vinyl copy? I still think this price is too high, but I love the song, it is a masterpiece, it has such a great mood, and the girl in the background rocks like hell! Play it to your friends, at least 5 times, then you got it! O-Ho-O-Hoho! :)

Ciaooo, I am back with another great, absolutely ignored tune from 1982, Steely Chuck McDonald with his smash hit Dream! Also used by The Robot Scientists on their Musica da Batticuore Mixtape Nr.5.

Time is relative. How relative shows this track from 1978, H Friend, produced by Jacky Giordano, engineered by Jean Pierre Gouache. Originally released in 1978 on the album Disco Club, this recording is from a 3-track EP released in 2004. A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

Secession - Touch (1984)

Ciao, this is a great HI-NRG-style synth / electro disco track, especially the first 4 minutes on the vinyl B-side are hilarious. It is one of those tracks everybody likes but noboby knows - and you can still get it therefore at good prices.

Cellophane - Gimme love (1983)

Great robotic electro disco track. The record's subtitle "Paganini presenta una musica da batticuore" gave name to The Robot Scientists electro disco classics live mix tapes. The vinyl is hard to get and expensive. Spork commented on discogs: "...It's raw, dirty, and it's too bad there aren't more copies floating around out there, because there isn't a party in the world that couldn't benefit from this gem." Word!

The Droids - The Force (1977)

The Droids are really amazing - ultracool French guys! A wonderful instrumental track. These are parts one and two taken from the album "Star peace" from 1978. The first release of the 12inch was in 1977.

A Chicago/UK house classic from 1981. It is one of the best italo-style house/electro tracks ever made, in my humble opinion. The original vinyl is almost impossible to find or super-expensive, but there is a semi-official reissue for less.

Mr. Flagio - Take a chance (1983)

I can remember the minute I heard this track for the first time in my life. My eyes started to shine, my mouth openened wider and wider, then I smiled, my heart started beating with 118 bpm...for me this is the best Italo Disco track. You can still buy the vinyl at "normal" rates at ebay, at Discogs they are a lot more expensive.

Plastic Bertrand - Tout petit la planete Cosmic Disco Bomb

Check this one out, completely ignored track, but it rocks like hell! Plastic Bertrand's single real hit was the punk rock track "Ca plane pour moi" which was even covered by Sonic Youth once. I don't know so much of his other stuff, but he actually was kind of a "pop" guy, so this is an absoulute highlight!
